New Video: Battle. Supporting Suicide Prevention

14 Dec 2017

New Video: Battle. Supporting Pieta House Suicide Prevention.

Swords are donating all downloads, streams, sales & royalties from Battle to Pieta House and asking everyone to donate too at www.pieta.ie/donate

Battle is available digitally now on iTunesSpotify & Google Music

We wrote this song about the feeling that hits you when getting out of bed feels like heading to the trenches. Like you have to fight an invisible enemy, and win, just to stay afloat and stay 'normal'. This takes a lot of energy, and can make you feel like you're crazy.

We wanted to share this song in aid of Pieta house, because we know that everyone feels like this sometimes, but some people feel like this all of the time. Please help us show a little light, and buy our single & donate to Pieta House today.

The video was directed by Crooked Gentlemen. With thanks to location providers, the Sean O'Casey Theatre in East Wall, Dublin.

LYRICS

Battling every day
With my brain
Battling

Checking if every day
I am sane
Battling

If I am a soldier, I can’t find my war
If I am a soldier, I can’t find my war
Playing tricks every day
With my brain
Playing tricks
Nobody knows
About this game,
Nobody knows

If I am a soldier, I can’t find my war
I look for that little light little light

Shine over us all

If I am a soldier, I can’t find my war,
Oh where is that little light little light,

Shine over us all.
